
INGREDIENTS
- 1 can garbanzo beans, drained & rinsed
- 2 medium avocados, cored & peeled
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves of garlic, peeled
- 2 tablespoons tahini
- ¼ cup lime juice, or the juice of 2 limes, depending on size
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Pinch (or two) of ground cumin (depending on personal tastes)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon cilantro, chopped for garnish (if available)
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes for garnish
PREPARATION
Place garbanzo beans, oil, tahini and lime juice in a food processor and pulse until smooth.
Season and add avocado, onion powder, and cumin; pulse again until smooth.
Top with a drizzle of oil, cilantro and/or chili flakes to serve.
